If you pick Zora, you'd have a big advantage over your opponents if the zone ends up being around Lake Hylia or Zora's Domain, but you'd be screwed if the zone ends at Death Mountain or the Gerudo Desert. There could even be a mode that uses the whole map with a much larger player pool (1,000 players?) that also lets you choose which race you want to be. Keep Guardians in the game to spice it up a bit they're super deadly but killing them is the only way to get Ancient gear. Loot would be typical BotW loot: weapons, ingredients to make food, and all the different armors. Ride in on the closest Divine Beast, paraglide out to the ground. Whichever map you get determines the race you play: Rito, Goron, Zora, Gerudo, Sheikah, or Hylian, and each one has its own special abilities. Split it up into six different maps to start with: Hebra, Eldin, Lanayru, Gerudo, Faron/Necluda and Central Hyrule. I was actually thinking the other day that a BotW battle royale would be super fun.
